Considering Teeth Whitening Treatment?
At Future Dental we are now happy to offer BIOLASE teeth whitening treatments
There a number of ‘home remedies’ to whiten your teeth but nothing can compare to having your teeth whitened by qualified and experienced dental professionals. Even take-home teeth whitening that has become so popular in recent years take far longer to provide results. They also can’t match the results that in-office whitening offers.
Teeth whitening is fast becoming one of the most commonly performed procedures in our practice and as part of our dedication to providing care of the highest quality, we can now give our patients treatment that achieves their goals. BIOLASE is a medical technology company that is an industry leader in developing laser systems used in both medicine and dentistry. Their products are focused on giving dentists the ability to restore and repair a patient’s dental concerns. They are able to alleviate any pain or anxiety that is associated with complex procedures. Much like us, they are committed to raising the standards of care in dentistry using the latest technologies. So, whether you simply want to get your teeth a few shades brighter or age and diet have taken their toll on your smile, BIOLASE can deliver excellent results in just 20 minutes.
Why Choose In-Office Teeth Whitening Treatments?
Given the rise of take-home teeth whitening treatments you may be wondering why in-office teeth whitening treatments are necessary. The answer is actually quite simple. Take-home teeth whitening treatments take quite a bit longer to provide results and when they do, they often pale in comparison to in-office treatments. Another factor to consider is that in-office teeth whitening treatments are performed by dental professionals using state-of-the-art technology. Take-home treatments, however, rely on the patient being able to apply them properly and at the required intervals. In-office teeth whitening treatments provide better results, in a fraction of the time.
Research into the efficacy of the Epic laser system employed by the BIOLASE treatment has shown that it is capable of delivering a brightening aspect of between 6 and 12 shades with less than 20 minutes of gel-to-tooth contact time.
The BIOLASE Teeth Whitening Procedure and What To Expect
Firstly, you will meet with our team of dental professionals in order to determine the best way to achieve your desired levels of test whitening. They will also establish whether you are a suitable candidate for the treatment. Once you’ve had your consultation and you are ready to begin treatment, we can start the procedure. After we have cleaned your teeth and removed any dental plaque and superficial stains, we can apply the bleaching gel to the treatment area. After the gel has been applied, we ensure that you are comfortable and aren’t experiencing any sensitivity.
We will then fit you with some futuristic-looking goggles that are designed to protect your eyes from the laser used to whiten your teeth. After several applications of the laser to your teeth, we will allow the gel to settle for a few minutes before rinsing your mouth with water. Then we polish your teeth with a paste that will give them a shine and sheen before applying a moistened gauze to rehydrate the tissue and enamel.
We can then measure the shade of your newly whitened teeth and compare them to your initial colouring, we are sure that you will be amazed at the results and you’ll be able to see an immediate improvement.
